Treatments

Does it hurt?

Comfort comes first. We numb the area before we begin and top the numbing up again during the treatment, and most clients describe the sensation as very manageable: more pressure or scratching than pain.

How long does a treatment take?

Most brow and lip treatments take around 2 to 2.5 hours, including consultation, mapping and the treatment itself. We never rush your appointment.

How long will it last?

Your first appointment isn't the finished result. Once you've had your top-up, lips typically last 1–2 years and brows 1–3 — how long depends mostly on your skin, plus the treatment and your lifestyle. A yearly colour boost keeps everything looking fresh.

Is it suitable for me?

Most people are great candidates. A few conditions or medications mean it isn't suitable, and that's exactly what your free consultation and patch test are for.

healing & aftercare

Healing & aftercare

What is the healing like?

Straightforward. Expect some initial darkness or intensity that softens over 5–10 days as the skin heals. You'll get full aftercare guidance to follow at home.

Why does my colour look too dark at first?

That's completely normal. Fresh pigment always looks bolder before it softens and settles into your true, natural-looking result over a few weeks.

Do I need a top-up?

Yes — it's part of the treatment, not an extra. Your top-up refines colour and shape after healing — usually 4–8 weeks later, or 8–12 weeks after lip neutralisation. A yearly colour boost after that keeps the result looking its best.

lip neutralisation

Lip neutralisation

What is lip neutralisation?

A specialised treatment for melanin-rich or uneven lips: gently neutralising darker areas to create a brighter, more even base before colour is added on top.

Will I need more than one session?

Often, yes. Neutralisation is usually completed over two sessions to build an even, natural-looking result. We'll talk you through your plan at consultation.
